With its plentiful highlights, large tracts of unspoiled wilderness, and world-famous UNESCO-listed Okavango Delta, Botswana is a country that should feature prominently on any safari must-do list.
Its wide range of habitats, from the desert dunescape of the Kalahari to the wetlands of the Delta, expansive salt pans, and channels and marshes are home to a huge diversity of animals. This is one of very few places where the most efficient predator in the world, the African wild dog, can be found in its natural habitat; alongside lions, leopard, elephant and all manner of game, large and small, competing daily for survival.
Not to be missed is the starkly beautiful, eerily silent Kubu Island in the heart of the Makgadigadi Pans, the elephant-rich Chobe National Park, and between them, Nata, where few visitors pass without being gifted with a sighting of the diminutive but famously charismatic and wide-eyed bush baby.
Below is a selection of our tours that offer the best of Botswana, along with a range of equally exciting experiences.
