Ngorongoro Crater

Located adjacent to the Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater has a uniquely other-worldly feel. Home to approximately 25,000 animals, mostly hoofed species, the crater’s more significant wildlife includes the Black rhinoceros, cheetah, wild dog and leopard.
The view from the rim is a photographers’ dream, offering incredible panoramic vistas. Located within the wider Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the 600 meter-deep crater was created by a now extinct volcano.
