Etosha National Park

Etosha National Park - Namibia

Etosha National Park, in North West Namibia, offers unrivalled game viewing opportunities. Included within its 22,270 square km is the massive Etosha Pan, which covers 23% of the total area. This dry lake bed offers unobstructed views of the hundreds of mammal, bird and reptile species that inhabit the park.

The water holes at the three main camps, Okaukuejo, Namutoni and Halali, attract the most spectacular species, particularly in the dry winter season. The rumbling of lions can be heard from great distances, giving time for cameras to be readied; while elephants chasing rhino, and other waterhole antics are common.

Truly no trip to Namibia would be complete without a visit to Etosha. All of the tours below include this natural wonder as part of the routing.
